Here’s a list of the best Lake Norman boat ramps with public access:

1. Blythe Landing

Blythe Landing is on the southern shore of Lake Norman. This park boasts one of the roomiest parking lots and the easiest ramps to launch a boat.

Nearly any size boat can be launched here. We took a ride last Summer on a friend’s 40-foot “go-fast” boat and he had no issues navigating the boat ramp and the parking lot with his rig.

This public access point has restrooms and several docks to tie up the boat. This is helpful when picking up or dropping off passengers, provisioning the boat, or stopping for a restroom break.

Address: 15901 NC 73 HY, Huntersville, NC 28078
Hours: 7AM-7PM, daily.
