Cornelius, N.C. (April 22, 2024)– G.O.A.T. Pizza, the highly anticipated sports-themed restaurant developed by internationally celebrated chef David Burke, announces the unveiling of its flagship location on April 27 at 9623 Bailey Road in Cornelius, North Carolina.

Crafted to cater to families, sports fans, and food enthusiasts alike, G.O.A.T. Pizza will serve pizza, pasta, sandwiches, smash burgers, and salads. The 4,100-square-foot restaurant will also include family-style appetizers, a kid’s menu, and fun homemade desserts. The full bar will feature local breweries and extensive bourbon and tequila options.

G.O.A.T. Pizza is the latest addition to the portfolio of David Burke Hospitality Management (D.B.H.M.) properties in North Carolina, joining The Fox & Falcon by David Burke and Port City Club by David BurkeJoe Douglas of 131 Main Restaurant and Robert Maynard of the Famous Toastery collaborate on the venture, contributing their expertise to shape the concept’s development.

Burke’s connections with Charlotte extend beyond his restaurants. In 2020, the award-winning restaurateur collaborated with J.W.U. Charlotte to create the David Burke Fellowship Program, offering paid internships to recent graduates. Earlier this year, Burke received an honorary doctorate in business administration from Johnson & Wales University (J.W.U.) for his outstanding achievements in the culinary world during a career that began in 1983 and is going stronger than ever.

From Mohammad Ali, Magic Johnson, and Wayne Gretsky to beloved hometown heroes, including Christian McCaffrey, Luke Kuechly, Michael Jordan, and Steph Curry, every corner of G.O.A.T. Pizza tells a story of greatness and inspiration.

In addition to the menu and museum-worthy sports memorabilia collection, the restaurant boasts an inviting indoor/outdoor bar and patio space. Flat-screen TVs throughout the restaurant ensure guests can cheer on their favorite teams from every seat in the house.
