Cornelius Hosts 25th Annual All-American Dog Show

Cornelius is going to the dogs – in the best way possible! The 25th Annual All-American Dog Show takes place on Sunday, September 28th, from 2 – 5 p.m. at Robbins Park, and this milestone year promises plenty of fun for pups and their people.

A Dog Show Like No Other

Unlike traditional competitions, this is a lighthearted, family-friendly event where all dogs are welcome. Entry is just $6 per contest (earlybird – day of is $10), and winners walk away with ribbons or pins – plus bragging rights! Categories include Best Dressed (dog + handler), Cutest Puppy Dog Eyes, Best Paw Shaker, and the brand-new Best Singing Voice contest.

The excitement wraps up with the grand Best in Show award.

More Than a Show Ring

This year’s celebration includes an agility course for dogs to try, free caricature artists, and more than 25 local vendors offering treats, leashes, bandanas, pet services, and more. The Lake Norman Humane Society will also host a raffle to support adoptions.

Food and refreshments will be on hand, including pup cups, ice cream, local brews, and a food truck serving classic favorites.

Community Spirit

The event is proudly presented by Sodoma Law North and Social Pet Hotel & Daycare, with additional support from local businesses and organizations who love celebrating our four-legged friends.
